good evening. context: this is about a server in the game cubyz. the game is awesome, the server is not.

i have just left the ashframe discord, hidden all my valuables on the server in a chest far from spawn, and left the server after sending one last salty message (reading approximately "i am hereby leaving the server, causes include the griefing of my spawn roof, along with tolerance of bigotry", though i did not take record). the reasons for this are stated in the message. a few days ago i had an argument with a professional (<- lie) transphobe, where the owner sided with them. that was enough to make me contemplate my place on the server already. i decided to continue playing and be especially friendly. i built a spawn roof that made the otherwise very barren looking spawn platform look actually like a place people traveled around, gave the town an upper layer on wooden stalks, and meticulously chiseled everything to look nice and also realistic. i also gave tons of stuff away because i was horribly rich anyway (why the fuck is there capitalism? i dont know, and i decided i was going to fight it by giving a lot away - that also just feels nicer anyway).

so now today, i am bored and log on. roof is gone, removed extremely sloppily, signs still point to where the entrance was, the floating district remains, but is now entirely fucking inaccessible. i ask. it was removed because a poll decided so and "it looked like slums" (???).

i do not need to be where i am not valued, and so i will not be there anymore.

as an extra fuck-you to this server, i have now made it so cubyz-server, the script that couldve fixed the constant server downtime, is email gated and i will not be giving it to those affiliated with this server.

i hope it was a lot of fun, because i sure had mine - and now i will have it somewhere else.
